Today
was a no drama travel day (or almost no drama).
We took the taxi to the airport and checked in. The gate agents said that we had to pay for
our checked luggage (apparently our fare did not include luggage). However, the flight was on Aegean Airlines, a
Star Alliance partner, so once we got our frequent flier numbers into their
system the finally decided we didn’t have to pay extra.
We
had a long layover in Athens and arrived in Rhodes after dark. Our transfer driver arrived shortly after we
did; we piled all of the luggage into his large van and headed off to Rhodes
City. The drive was in the dark so we
didn’t get to see much. Our room is
large with three beds and two balconies.
Seeing as today was a travel day we ended up with no pictures.
