September 19 – Queen Mary, Mostly Working

Today we had plans to go to a lecture on England’s Reformation.  Unfortunately we were so engrossed in out photos that we missed it.  Mary did make it to a presentation on Irving Berlin, similar to the one the day before with a lot of sing-a-long, enjoyed by all.  For the second day in a row Mary inadvertently ended up finding a seat (today it was the only seat available) with John and Kathy, one of the couples that we are seated with at dinner.  Strange things.

We spent most of the day with our nose in the computer, Paul sorting through emails and the two of us culling pictures.  We are beginning to make a dent in our backlog.

In the evening we went to see the show of Broadway show tunes, performed by Roy Locke.  He played the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera.  He has an incredible voice and is one of the most talented vocalists we have heard in all of our cruises.
